The activity of the Institute aimed to creation and large-scale introduction of new varieties and hybrids of important crops. High performance is based on depth analysis of the needs of the crop field and market trends and high knowledge intensity both breeding process, and seed production process. Operational breeding of the new hybrids with high adaptive capacity carried out with the direct control of breeders without intermediaries, which ensures complete safety properties of the hybrid and high quality of the seeds. Continuously scientific work is being conducted on creation varieties and hybrids of sunflower, maize, sugar beet and mangel-wurzel, rape, wheat, barley and other crops.
